Je Suis Charlie

My understanding of the shooting in Paris was that two gun men walked into a studio of a rude humored newspaper producer and killed at least 12 people. The reason was because the producers made an offensive cartoon about that offended a certain religion. The two gun mean were a part of that religion and said that they have done justice for their religion. They then drove away and people were then chanting Je Suis Charlie which means I am Charlie. They were saying this in honor of the newspaper studio.
