Un lycée - a high school

Grammar

1. Le pluriel: articles, noms, et adjectifs 

    Pluriel = Plural 

    An article always accompanies an noun in French 

    Definite plural article = les 

    Indefinite plural article = des 

    

2. Le verbe être au pluriel 

    Être = to be 

    Conjugations of être:

    Je Suis

    Tu Es

     Il/Elle/On Est

     Nous sommes

     Vous êtes 

     Ils/Elles Sont

3. Tu et Vous 

    Tu and Vous = You

    There is no actual rule for tu or vous. If you don't know which one to use, then use vous.

    Vous is used for showing respect. Tu is used with friends and younger people. 

    Vouvoyer = To vous with someone 

    Tutoyer = To tu with someone
