Grammar

1. Le verbe aller au présent et y

    Aller - to go 

    Conjugations of aller:

    Je vais

    Tu vas

    Il/Elle/On va

    Nous allons 

    Vous allez 

    Ils/Elles vont

    Y means "there" and it replaces "à" and a previously mentioned place 

    Ça means "that"

2. Aller + infinitif 

    Le futur = the future and proche = near 

    Aller + infinitive = near future 

3. Le contractions avec à et de 

    À means "to", "in", or "at"

    À + Le = au; à + les = aux

    De means "of", "from", or "some" 

    De + Le = du; de + les = des 

    De can also indicate possession 

4. Le verbe prendre au présent 

    Prendre means to take or to have (with food)

     Il/Elle/On prend 

     Nous prenons

    Apprendre means to learn and comprendre means to understand
